Casey's Story
"When my husband and I brought Casey home to live with us, our lives were filled with joy. She wasn’t a jumping, playful puppy or a young dog adopted from a shelter. She was a 13 year old Golden Retreiver who had spent eight depressing years neglected by her previous owner. She spent all day in a dark basement with her brother Toby and their only interaction with humans was a few minutes everyday when they were fed or let outdoors. They were matted, obese and in desperate need of attention.
"About two months into their stay, we found Casey, laying in the living room, unable to get up. We feared the worst and rushed her to the vet her previous owner had used. He examined her and prescribed all of the traditional medications. We were to keep her rested and cross our fingers. It really felt so unfair that this dog had made it out of her dark, lonely basement only to be put down because of her leg. When I looked into her eyes, they were still so full of life and her personality was as feisty as ever. She wanted to get up and be part of the family but her body wouldn’t obey.
"After about a week, it became apparent that there was no improvement. She wasn’t able to walk and she was becoming increasingly depressed. I called Dr. Fischer and asked him if he knew of any alternative medicine that might work. After all she had been through I wanted so badly for her to experience a happy life; having it cut short seemed so cruel.
"Dr. Fischer told me of a new machine called BioCom that worked with the frequencies in the body. I had no idea what he was saying but I had to give any opportunity a chance. Her eyes were so full of life; I couldn’t stop trying. I figured we had nothing to lose, so I agreed to bring her back and try.
"I carried Casey into her first treatment. She was completely unable to hold any weight on her hind legs. I had to hold her rear up, while she tried to move her front paws. It was exhausting for us both. At the end of her first session, the woman working the Bio-Com expected her to get up and walk. I thought she was insane. Did she not see me lumbering in with this 90 lb dog? Did she really expect some miracle?
"When I took her home there was little improvement. My heart sank as I wondered if I was doing the right thing by this dog. I brought her in again for a second treatment and when we got home, I let go of her to open the front door and realized she was holding her own weight! That was so exciting! Then she took a step or two on her own. Little by little she slowly improved. By her third treatment (about a week and a half later) she was able to walk a few steps on her own.
"Casey had one more treatment and at the end of that she walked around outside chasing Bobbi for the treats in her hand. She was slow and wobbly and even fell from time to time but she could get herself back up and was mobile. It was truly unbelievable.
"Over the next few days and weeks, my Casey blossomed. She began to walk more steadily and confidently. Then (and I am not making this up) she began running down my block. I’d have to jog next to her to keep up. Her absolute joy was visible in her face. She could get up, go outside and run on her own. She even began to hop around again when I come home from work. It is a miracle that this dog got the second chance we all hoped for.
"Casey did pass on about seven months after the treatments but it was easy to see that it was her time. Up until her last day, she could walk around freely enjoying her life.
"I can’t tell you how the Bio-Com machine works. It makes no sense to me to this day. If I hadn’t seen Casey with my own two eyes, I would never believe it but I can tell you that it does. I have used it on five of my other dogs and it is amazing to watch how their bodies react to the different programs. I fully expect to use it again in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
"My greatest thanks to Dr. Fischer, Bobbi, Sue, Courtney, Brianne and Loraine."
