Dr. Kenneth D. Fischer, Veterinarian
Dr. Kenneth D. Fischer earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. Upon graduation, he completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital, a renowned specialty referral practice in Oradell, NJ. In 1996 he took over the reins of Hillsdale Animal Hospital and began to specialize in complementary and alternative veterinary medicine (CAVM). After completing courses in animal chiropractic and veterinary acupuncture during 1997-1998, Dr. Fischer obtained certification by meeting stringent requirements in these specialty areas from the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) and the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS). Herbal medicine was next on the CAVM agenda, and upon completion of a course in Chinese Herbology in 2002, he received certification from the Healing Oasis Wellness Center in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. Currently, Dr. Fischer continues his studies in these areas as well as having developed a strong interest in nutrition and nutritional medicine. ^back to top^

Bobbie Greco, Office Manager
Bobbie Greco joined the team as Office Manager in January of 2006; however, her association with HAH began several years ago when her gang of Golden Retrievers (she’s got four of them!) became patients of Dr. Fischer's. When she recently decided on a new career direction, doing something that focused on her passion for animals was clearly at the top of her list, so when the position at HAH opened up, she contacted Dr. Fischer and was thrilled when he offered her the opportunity to join the practice.

Bobbie has her undergraduate degree in Business from Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY and her Masters in Public Administration with a concentration in Health Care from Long Island University in Orangeburg, NY. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, knitting and crocheting, cooking, and volunteering for the Long Island Golden Retriever Rescue. Most of her free time, though, is spent with the loves of her life, her beautiful Goldens Brandy, Jake, Elle Woods, and Brandon. ^back to top^

Nina Schenone, Veterinary Assistant
HAH is happy to welcome back Nina Schenone, who some of you may remember from years past.  Nina re-joined the HAH family after a four year break to be a "stay-at-home" mom.

Her family includes her fiancée, Chris, her daughter, Alina, and her puppies and kittens Rambler, Angel, Justice, Gizmo, and Miley.  When not at HAH serving our clients, Nina is busy taking care of her furry (and not so furry!) kids and serving as Head Costume Coordinator for Alina's dance company. ^back to top^

Cortney Rice, Veterinary Assistant
Cortney Rice joined the HAH family in June of 2007.  She was a client first and loved Dr. Fischer and the staff so much that she asked for a job.  It was truly a dream come true!  Cortney has a fierce love for animals and is the proud mom of a Rottweiler named Kalle, and 6 cats: The Bopis, Furry Murry, Whiskey Motors, and Moki.

Cortney has done advanced levels of obedience training with Kalle and has enjoyed two dog training internships.  She brings a great love of positive dog training to the practice and hopes to convey that to our clients.  Cortney also believes that nutrition is the foundation of good health and is a strong advocate for feeding a raw diet.

Cortney's passions include breed specific legislation and re-homing Rottweilers and Pit Bulls.  Among her many goals, Cortney would like to write a book with her brother, Stuey, create an animal sanctuary, and establish an animal therapy program for people with mental health disabilities. ^back to top^

Sue Mollica, Clinical Assistant/Receptionist
Sue Mollica is one of the newest staff members, having joined the HAH team in January, 2006. After spending eight years in business and almost 14 years in healthcare, Sue decided to follow her heart into the world of veterinary medicine where she can combine her love for animals with her passion for helping others. Sue truly enjoys interacting with our clients and with their wonderful four-legged companions, and she looks forward to increasing her knowledge and education to support her dream (and now reality!) of working with animals.

In her spare time, Sue loves to spend time with her gang of four fabulous Golden Retrievers. She also enjoys reading medical mystery novels, relaxing by her pool, and just being in the great outdoors. She is an avid baseball fan and can often be found cheering for her favorite team, the New York Mets. ^back to top^

Lorraine Thompson, Receptionist
Lorraine Thompson has been a receptionist with HAH since the late 1990’s. She has been married to her wonderful husband, Gene, for 21 years and has two great kids – Kerri, who is in college and Ryan, who is in high school. Lorraine and her family have four adopted pets – Harley, a Labrador/Shepherd mix; Chance, a Cocker Spaniel; and Tails and Pretty Girl, the family cats.

In addition to working part-time at HAH, Lorraine works at a horse stable in Suffern, NY where she is responsible for caring for 44 horses.

As you can tell, Lorraine really loves caring for and working with animals, and she feels fortunate to have two great jobs that she loves! ^back to top^

Brianne Baker, Receptionist
Brianne Baker is one of the most recent additions to the HAH family, having joined the team in the fall of 2006. After many years working in customer service positions, Brianne decided to follow her heart and find a job where she could combine her business skills with her deep love for animals, a career move fully supported by her fiance, Ben, who shares her love of four legged family members and friends.

Brianne is currently a student in the City University Baccalaureate Program, where she is working toward her dual degree in War History and Fundamentals of Literature. In her spare time (of which there is very little), Brianne enjoys spending time with her family, going to the movies, and reading. Her life goals include getting her Ph.D., being a contestant on Who Wants to be a Millionaire, and seeing her name on the New York Times bestsellers list! ^back to top^
